1 Pacamara
Pacamara is a hybrid between the Bourbon mutation Pacas and Maragogype (two different strains of Arabica coffee beans). It was bred in El Salvador in 1958 to achieve an Arabica variety that produces larger beans. However. it never became popular due to its increased cost and lower production yields.
Pacamara is the largest-sized coffee bean in the world. Furthermore. this specific Pacamara is individually hand-selected by us to obtain the largest coffee bean size possible (20-21) and only perfect whole beans.
It comes from the highest and lushest mountains in Nicaragua. The coffee is grown specifically in the mountains of Dipilto & Jalapa. which surrounds the San Juan de Rio Coco River. the largest and most bio-diverse river ecosystem in Nicaragua.
